KILLEN, Ala. – The Southeastern Louisiana golf team will be back in action Monday at the Spring Classic at Turtle Point Yacht Club at 8 a.m.

The course is a par-72, 7,133 yard designed by Robert Trent Jones. The course has been the host site of the SEC Championship, the Alabama State Amateur Championship and the Southern Amateur.

SLU will be joined in the tournament by host team North Alabama, Belmont, Jacksonville State, Troy, Morehead State, Murray State, Stetson, Valparaiso, DePaul, Loyola-Chicago and IUPUI.

The Lions' team will include
Joris Etlin,
Bailey Smith,
Logan Kuehn,
Miller Maestri and Kris Kerr.

Kuehn, a sophomore, led SLU last week at the Toyota Invitational shooting +3. The Lake Charles, Louisiana native battled through his hometown course shooting 73 (+1) in the first round, 72 (E) in the second round and a final round 74 (+2).

Etlin continues to lead the Lions with 73.95 strove average. The senior from Frejus, France has shot 74 or lower in 11 of 19 rounds this year.

Maestri leads the team with 54 birdies after recording 13 at the Toyota Invitational. The sophomore from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, also shot the lowest round of the season for the Lions when he turned in a 67 (-4) in the final round of the Sam Hall Intercollegiate in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Southeastern will play 36 holes Monday before wrapping up the tournament Tuesday morning with the final round.
