HAMMOND, La. – The Lion Athletics Association, in conjunction with the Southeastern Louisiana baseball program, will offer Dirt on the Diamond this spring, a new social gathering where can fans gain insider information on Coach Matt Riser's ballclub.
 
Diamond Club and S Club members are invited to join Riser for pre-dinner drinks in Strawberry Stadium's S Club Lounge as he uncovers the Lions' scouting reports, potential lineups and more for each upcoming weekend series.
 
The 30-minute sessions are scheduled for 6 p.m. on Thursdays leading into a weekend home series. Dates for Dirt on the Diamond sessions are Feb. 14, Feb. 21, March 7, March 21, April 11 and May 9.

All membership fees and donations to both the Diamond Club and S Club (baseball) are available for the exclusive use of the Southeastern baseball program.
 
CLEAR BAG POLICY
Southeastern Athletics has instituted a clear bag policy for all ticketed events, effective with the start of the 2018 football season. The policy mirrors safety precautions taken upon entrance to professional and collegiate sporting venues throughout the country.
 
In addition to Southeastern baseball games at Alumni Field and softball games at North Oak Park, the policy will also be enforced at men's and women's basketball games in the University Center, and football games in Strawberry Stadium.
