HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana University will host a Celebration of Champions at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field.
 
Admission is free to the ceremony honoring both the baseball and softball teams.
 
The Southland Conference regular-season championship trophies will be presented and both head coaches will speak. Softball's All-Conference honorees and baseball's senior class will also be recognized.
 
Following back-to-back conference tournament championships, softball won the Southland regular-season championship and then earned an at-large bid to NCAA Regional play. For Lion baseball, it marks back-to-back seasons in which they have won the conference's regular-season title.
 
This marks the first time in school history that both programs have won the regular-season title in the same season.
