HAMMOND, La. – As a new calendar year approaches, the Southeastern Louisiana Athletics Ticket Office is placing baseball and softball season tickets on sale Tuesday for the upcoming 2020 season.
 
General admission and family packs are currently available for new purchases. Fans wishing to purchase new reserved seats may join a waiting list.
 
Renewals for current season-ticket holders are on their way with a Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2020, deadline to renew. After that date, all reserved tickets will be available to the public for purchase.
 
Pricing for baseball season tickets includes $300 for box seats, $175 for reserved seats and $130 for general admission. A family plan that includes two adult and two youth (ages 3-12) general admission tickets is available for $250.
 
A 30-game home slate at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field includes nonconference games against stalwarts Mississippi State, Southern Miss, Louisiana Tech, UL Lafayette, South Alabama and Tulane.
 
The Lion baseball program has averaged nearly 38 wins per season during Matt Riser's six-year tenure as head coach. That sustained success has allowed Southeastern to continually establish attendance records at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field, drawing a Southland Conference-leading average of 1,252 fans per game in 2019.
 
Softball season tickets include packages for reserved chair backs ($80) or general admission ($60) seats.
 
Rick Fremin's squad led the nation in steals for the third time in four years in 2019, swiping a school and conference-record 227 bases. The Lady Lions return 18 letter winners off last season's 34-23 squad.
 
A 23-game home softball schedule, which includes the annual Lion Classic, begins Feb. 7 with Southeastern hosting games against Buffalo and Alabama State at North Oak Park. High profile opponents making the trek to Hammond includes Mississippi State and UL Lafayette.

DIAMOND CLUB / HOME RUN CLUB / S CLUB
Fans interested in becoming active supporters of the baseball or softball program are encouraged to join the Diamond Club (baseball) or Home Run Club (softball). Southeastern baseball and softball alums are encouraged to join the exclusive S Club, which is restricted to Southeastern athletic letter winners.

CLEAR BAG POLICY
Southeastern Athletics has a clear bag policy for all ticketed events. The policy mirrors safety precautions taken upon entrance to professional and collegiate sporting venues throughout the country.
 
In addition to Southeastern home baseball games at Alumni Field and softball games at North Oak Park, the policy is also enforced at men's and women's basketball games in the University Center and football games in Strawberry Stadium.
