HAMMOND, La. – Donovan Storr, a long sprinter and transfer from Iowa Western Junior College, will continue his academic and athletic endeavors as a member of the Southeastern Louisiana track and field program, SLU head coach
Corey Mistretta announced on Monday.
Storr, a junior from North Andras High School in Andras, Bahamas, will add depth to the Lions in the 200 and 400 meter sprints.
"He (Storr) is a great kid with a great head on his shoulders," said Mistretta. "He is a really good athlete that I think helps this program continue to build in the direction we want it to go which is positive results on the track as well as in the classroom."
Storr will give the Lions some versatility in sprint disciplines as well as hurdles.
