HAMMOND, La. – Fresh off a series victory over SIU-Edwardsville this past weekend, Southeastern Louisiana rolls into a busy week with home games against Alcorn State, No. 20-ranked UL Lafayette and No. 25-ranked UConn.
The Lions (2-1) hosts Alcorn State (2-1) at 6 p.m. Tuesday and the Ragin' Cajuns (1-2) at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field.
Both games can be heard in the Hammond area on KSLU 90.9 FM, and worldwide online or through the TuneIn Radio app (search for KSLU). Fans can keep up with the game through live statistics or by following @SLUathletics on Twitter.

Wednesday's game against the Ragin' Cajuns is a Cane's Challenge contest. If Southeastern scores four runs or more versus UL Lafayette, fans can take their game ticket or student coupon to their local participating Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers by the end of the business Thursday to receive a free combo with the purchase of another of equal or greater value.

Neither UL Lafayette nor Southeastern has announced a starting pitcher for Wednesday's 6 p.m. contest that begins a five-game stretch for the Lions against ranked opponents.

As a team, the Lions are hitting .333, with four doubles, one triple and one home run. Their 13 stolen bases lead the nation. Southeastern's pitching staff has compiled a 3.67 ERA, fanning 30 batters through 27 innings of work. Opponents are hitting .287 off Lion pitching.
Alcorn won 2-of-3 games in New Orleans, Louisiana, this past weekend at the Andre Dawson Classic, defeating Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 5-4, and Prairie View A&M, 8-4, before dropping a 6-5 decision to Grambling State.
Kirt Cormier (.545), Der'Vincent Hamilton (.333) and Justin Barna (.300) pace the Braves at the plate. Cormier has hit a pair of home runs, while Hunter Wilson leads the squad with five RBI.
The Braves are hitting .263 as a team, with six doubles, four home runs and one stolen base. Alcorn's pitching staff has compiled a 4.50 ERA, fanning 20 batters in 26 innings pitched. Opponents are hitting .247 off the Braves' pitching staff.
UL Lafayette dropped 2-of-3 games at No. 20-ranked Texas this past weekend, falling by scores of 3-0 and 5-3 before claiming a 2-1 win in the series finale.
O'Neal Lochridge (.500), Gavin Bourgeois (.364) and Hunter Kasuls (.250) lead UL Lafayette offensively.
The Ragin' Cajuns are hitting .143 as a team, with four doubles and three stolen bases. UL Lafayette's pitchers have combined for a 2.81 ERA, fanning 18 batters in 25.2 innings of work. Opponents are hitting just .209 of Ragin' Cajun pitching.
Southeastern continues its season-opening, nine-game homestand Friday at 6 p.m. against UConn.

All home games are available except the matchup with No. 9-ranked LSU. Tickets to that game will only be available for purchase by Diamond Club members and current baseball season ticket holders until Feb. 21.
General Admission tickets for Lion home games are $9 for adults and $6 for children (ages 3-12). Tax is included in the price of admission. Southeastern students are admitted free with a valid university ID card.
Students and campus organizations can earn points toward their Lion Up Loyalty account at any home game by checking in on the mobile app while in attendance.
