MOBILE, Ala. – Southeastern Louisiana travels down the Gulf Coast to face No. 21-ranked South Alabama at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Stanky Field.
The Lions (25-8) are 2-1 against ranked opponents this season, sweeping the season series from Tulane (ranked 27th both times) for the first time since the 1993 season with a 7-6 win in New Orleans, Louisiana, April 5.

The Lions took 2-of-3 games in a Southland Conference series at Northwestern State this past weekend.
Six everyday players are hitting .300 or better, including

Webb Bobo (.307). Fisher also leads the squad with eight home runs and 40 RBIs. Southeastern is hitting .299 as a team with 51 doubles, 12 triples, 28 home runs and 61 stolen bases.
Fisher, the Lions' first baseman, is the top offensive threat in the nation, leading college baseball in both batting average and on-base percentage (.597). The junior from Zachary, Louisiana, ranks fourth nationally with six sacrifice flies and fifth with an .802 slugging percentage.
Southeastern's pitching staff enters the week with a 2.32 ERA, the third lowest in the nation, and has fanned 288 batters through 290.1 innings of work. Opponents are hitting .214 off Lion pitching.
Senior right-hander 
Pat Cashman (3-0, 4.67) draws the starting assignment for the Lions. He will be opposed Tuesday by junior right-hander Randy Bell (1-1, 4.15) for the Jaguars.
South Alabama's pitching staff has compiled a 3.48 ERA, fanning 217 batters in 297.2 innings of work. Opponents are hitting .250 off Jaguar pitching.
Drew LaBounty (.352), Carter Perkins (.341), Travis Swaggerty (.315), Brendan Donovan (.312) and Jared Barnes (.300) pace the South Alabama offensive attack. Barnes leads the team six home runs and Danny Martinez has driven in a team-high 31 runs. The Jaguars are hitting .280 as a team with 51 doubles, six triples, 19 home runs and 54 stolen bases.
South Alabama, which has won four straight games, swept its fifth-consecutive Sun Belt Conference series this past weekend, downing Arkansas State.
Southeastern wraps up its six-game road swing Friday at No. 22-ranked UL Lafayette, returning to Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field Saturday against the Ragin' Cajuns for Super Lion Saturday.
