This Week in Southeastern Athletics -- December 19-25, 2016

Basketball closes pre-Christmas schedules

HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana men's and women's basketball teams will close out their respective pre-Christmas schedules during this week in Southeastern Athletics.
 
The Lions (6-5) will be in Denton, Texas on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. non-conference contest at North Texas.
 
The Lady Lions (2-6) open their week on Monday, closing out a four-game road swing with a 6 p.m. game at Louisiana-Lafayette. On Wednesday, Southeastern returns home to host Grambling for a 2 p.m. non-conference matinee at the University Center.
 
Freshman guards Courtney Dawsey and Charliee Dugas are Wednesday's Spotlight Players of the Game. The first 150 fans will receive trading cards featuring the Lady Lion newcomers courtesy of PRIDE.
 
All of this week's men's basketball games will be broadcast live in the Hammond area on KSLU-FM (90.9), online at www.LionSports.net/listenlive and via the TuneIn radio app. A live video stream of Wednesday's game will be available at www.LionSports.net/watch.
