Box Score HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana baseball team shut out Grambling State, 13-0, on a chilly Wednesday night at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field.
Senior right-hander
Sean Kennel (1-1) tossed six shutout innings to pick up the win for Southeastern (6-2), tying a career high with seven strikeouts.

The Lions pounded out 19 hits against seven different Grambling (1-7) pitchers, with starter Cole Gray (0-1) suffering the loss.
Jameson Fisher collected a career-high four hits, recording his team-leading fifth multi-hit game of the season.
Jacob Williams went 3-for-5, scoring three runs.

Webb Bobo each picked up a pair of hits for Southeastern. Every starter in the Southeastern lineup collected at least one hit.
Southeastern scored one in the first inning, two in the second and five more in the third to put the game out of reach early.
Williams led off the bottom of the first with a base hit up the middle, stole second and moved to third on
Kyle Cedotal's ground out to second. Fisher drove in Williams with a one-out single to right field.
In the second,
Jacob Seward drew a one-out walk and Williams followed with his second hit of the game. Following a Cedotal fly out, Fisher and Godbold each singled to drive in runs.
The Lions sent 10 batters to the plate in the third, the highlight being Cedotal's three-run double to left.
Bobo drove in a pair of runs in the seventh with a two-out double to right. Seward followed with an RBI single up the middle as Southeastern pushed across four in the inning.
Fisher scored the final run of the game in the eighth. After his fourth hit of the game, Godbold and pinch-hitter
Brooks Morse each singled to load the bases. Pinch-hitter
Jordan Washam plated Fisher with a sacrifice fly to left.
Southeastern travels to Louisiana-Monroe for a three-game series beginning Friday at 6 p.m.
