Southeastern will be looking to snap a three-game losing streak, as the Lady Lions fell at Southern, at Savannah State and at Alabama during a three-game road swing. On Tuesday, the Crimson Tide scored 25 points off 22 Lady Lion turnovers on the way to a 68-55 victory.

Making her first career start on Tuesday, junior forward Rashima Jenkins scored eight points, sharing the team scoring lead with junior guard Chelsea Hix. Senior wing Quantae Thomas and senior post Zevy Ivory both pulled down a game-high seven rebounds, while sophomore guard Kelli Jenkins and freshman guard Erica Burgess dished out three assists apiece.

The Lady Lions are averaging 57.6 points and 21.8 turnovers per contest. Thomas leads the team with 13.8 points per game. Senior guard Kim Edmonson (9.2 ppg), Kelli Jenkins (7.2 ppg), sophomore guard Gabrielle George (6.5 ppg) and Ivory (6.2 ppg) are the other top scorers for the Lady Lions.

Southeastern, which hit a Southland Conference record 220 three-point field goals last season, is averaging 6.8 treys per game this season. Thomas (12 3-FG) and Edmonson (11 3-FG) are the other top outside threats for the Lady Lions. Kelli Jenkins and Burgess have been the best distributors for the Lady Lions, averaging 4.8 and 2.4 assists, respectively.

The Lady Lions are averaging 36.0 rebounds per contest through the first five contests this season. Ivory leads the team with 6.2 rebounds per game, followed by Thomas (4.6 rpg) and George (4.0 rpg).

Defensively, Southeastern has held opponents to 64.2 points per contest. Ivory leads the team with 1.0 block per game. With five blocks this season, Ivory now has 62 for her career, moving her into a tie for ninth place on the school's career list with former Lady Lion Michelle Foster.

Southeastern has forced 19.2 turnovers per game and is averaging 7.8 steals per contest. Kelli Jenkins leads the team with 2.0 steals per outing, followed by Burgess (1.2 spg), Edmonson (1.0 spg) and Ivory (1.0 spg).

Centenary will come to town looking for its first win under first-year head coach Bogan Jankovic. The Ladies have fallen to Louisiana Tech (88-41), LSU (92-19), Grambling (78-53), Sam Houston State (74-49) and Louisiana-Monroe (62-42) to open the season.

On Tuesday, junior center Anne Farrell posted a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds in a loss to ULM. Despite Farrell's performance, Centenary could not overcome the 40 turnovers it committed versus the Lady Warhawks.

Centenary has struggled offensively this season, averaging 40.8 points and 30.4 turnovers per game. Farrell leads the team with 10.8 points per game, followed by junior forward Ashley Jackson with 10.6 ppg. Sophomore guard Beth Alberson leads the team with 1.2 assists per game.
