Cooper becomes the sixth winner from the women’s soccer program, following in the footsteps of former Lady Lions Allison Holladay (1999-00), Becca Weingartner (2001-02), Kendra Oney (2003-04), Kim McNally (2004-05) and Dana Mayer (2009-10) A first team All-Southland and All-Louisiana selection for the third straight season, Cooper ranked among the Southland Conference leaders with 11 goals, six assists and 28 points. Cooper joins Holladay, Weingartner, McNally and Courtney Coutu as the only players in school history to earn first team All-Southland honors three times. Cooper and McNally are also the only two players in program annals to post three seasons of double-digit goals. She enters her senior season, which starts at Mississippi State on Aug. 17, third in school history with 37 goals, 88 points and 10 game-winning goals.
