Ran in two meets during his first year at Southeastern, Only 5K race was at the UNO Cross Country Opener, finishing in 17:28.0... Lone 8K race of the season was at the SLC Championships, crossing the line in 31:08.8... Named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll.
Prior to Southeastern:
Prepped at the Gutenbergschule in his native Germany... Ran the 800-meter run in 1:55 during his time in high school.

Born January 19, 2005 in Wiesbaden, Hesse, Germany... Son of Marc & Inga Boerkey... Has three siblings - Pierre, Luis, & Annina... Brother, Luis, is on the track & field team at Loyola Marymount University while other brother, Pierre, is on the track team at Texas Tech... Majors in psychology at SLU.
