Ran in five meets during her first season as a Lady Lion in four different distances... Started the season by running her lone 4K in 18:31.0 at the Battle for New Orleans... Lone 3K was at the LSU Invitational where she ran the course in 12:16.7... Completed her only 5K of the season in 20:50.7 at the Nicholls Invitational... Fastest of two 6Ks came at the Watson Collegiate Classic, stopping the clock in 25:03.6... Named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll.
Prior to Southeastern:
Prepped at Albany High in neighboring Livingston Parish... Was on the basketball, track & field, & cross country teams for the Hornets... Finished top-10 at the Louisiana State Cross Country Championships... Was the Livingston Parish Champion in both cross country & 800-meter run... Was runner-up in the 800-meter run at the Louisiana Indoor Track & Field Championships... Was the district champion in the 800-meter run, 1,600-meter run, & 3,200-meter run... Also named Academic All-State... Named team captain for both track & cross country all four years... Was part of the Hornet Girl's Basketball Team which won the State Championship in the University Center... Named All-parish, First Team All-District, & Defensive MVP in basketball... Also took part in student government, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, & BETA Club.
Personal:
Born February 6, 2006 in Covington, La... Daughter of Christopher & Blair Boudreaux, both of whom are Southeastern alums... Has three younger siblings - Reese, Vaida, & Rhett... Enjoys being with family & friends, going to church & helping with children's ministry, shopping, swimming, playing basketball, running, & eating... Biggest sports thrill is accomplishing something that's been a goal for a while... Most exciting athletic event she's witnessed was winning the basketball state championship in overtime... Majors in early childhood education at Southeastern.
