2018 [R-SOPHOMORE]: Appeared in 17 games, all in relief … compiled a 2-1 record and team-leading six saves to go along with a 4.63 ERA in 23.1 innings pitched … tied for third in the Southland Conference in saves … struck out 25 batters and walked nine for K/BB ratio of 2.8 … allowed 23 hits as opponents hit .267 off the right-hander … worked more than one inning in nine appearances … turned in nine scoreless outings … picked up wins against Toledo (March 6) and at Central Arkansas (May 12) … earned saves against UConn (Feb. 23), LSU (Feb. 28), Lamar (March 16), Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (April 6), Nicholls (April 21) and South Alabama (May 15) … named a Perfect Game/Rawlings Summer Collegiate All-American after earning 10 saves and helping the Mat-Su Miners to the Alaska Baseball League title … member of the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2017 [R-FRESHMAN]: Southland All-Academic performer ... appeared in 22 games, starting one … compiled a 2-2 record to go along with a pair of saves and a 3.82 ERA in 37.2 innings of work … struck out 36 batters, walking 10 … opponents hit .257 (37 hits) off the right-hander … fanned a career-high seven batters against Tulane (2/21)  in his collegiate debut, earning the win … also earned a win against Troy (3/5) … picked up saves against New Orleans (3/12) and Central Arkansas (5/13) … turned in 12 scoreless appearances out of the bullpen … named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2016 [FRESHMAN]: Redshirted

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three letters in baseball at Walker HS … named first team All-District as a senior … 2015 Perfect Game Southeast Region Honorable Mention … named LHSAA All-Academic … 2014 Perfect Game Underclass All-American Honorable Mention.

PERSONAL: Born Bryce Joseph Tassin in Hammond, Louisiana … son of Craig and Sandra Tassin … has a sister, Shelby … father attended Southeastern … enjoys hunting … majoring in accounting.
