HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterman in baseball at E.D White HS for former Lion Shane Trosclair, he also earned three varsity letters in football … team captain as a junior and senior for baseball … All-State selection as a senior and three-time All-District performer … All-District selection in football as a junior … president of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

PERSONAL: Born in San Diego, California … son of Scott and Linda Sanders … older brother to Cameron, Lindsie and Jaden … father is a former first-round pick in the Major League Baseball Draft, pitching for the San Diego Padres, Seattle Mariners, Detroit Tigers and Chicago Cubs … father played collegiate baseball at Nicholls State … majoring in biology.
