2014 Outdoor: placed 5^th in discus and second in hammer throw at the Jaguar Invitational…placed fifth in the men's hammer throw at the Alabama Relays (195-6.00)… In the men's hammer throw, Kinchen posted the second-place mark of 205 feet, one inch and placed third in the shot put (50-08.75) at the McNeese Springtime Classic… came in third (185-05.00) in the hammer throw at the Southeastern Lion Invitational…clinched the men's hammer throw title with a mark of 199 feet, eleven inches and came in sixth (164-02) in the discus at the J. Fred Duckett Twilight meet…placed second in the hammer throw at the Southland Conference Outdoor Championships, tossing for 199 feet, nine inches…Kinchen also placed 5^th (47.8m) in the discus at the Southland Conference Outdoor Championships…
 
2014 Indoor: won the weight throw with 20.65 meters (67-09.00) and placed fourth in shot put throwing for 15.10 meters at Cowboy Indoor I…placed fifth in shot put throwing for 15.80 meters and fourth in weight throw, throwing 19.16 meters at the A-State Invitational…placed fifth in shot put (15.10) and fifth in weight throw (62-01.25) at the Southland Conference Championship...placed eighth in shot put, throwing for 15.48 meters and placed fifth in weight throw, with 19.22 meters at the Cupid Classic...at the Southern Miss. Invitational he threw for 15.63 meters in shot put, placing fifth and also throwing for 19.16 meters in weight throw, placing second…threw for a conference-best mark at the McNeese Cowboy invitational in weight throw with 20.65 meters…placed in fourth place in both shot put(15.62 meters) and weight throw(15.62 meters) at LSU Twilight.
 
2013 Outdoor: finished 23rd in the men’s hammer throw in the NCAA Track & Field East Preliminary Rounds...placed second in the men’s discus throw (157-06) at the Southland Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships...placed second in the men’s hammer throw (203-05) at the Samford Open...placed 5th at the McNeese Springtime Classic...finished 1st in the hammer throw at the Mississippi College Twilight Invitational...finished second in the men’s hammer throw (187-08.75) and seventh in the discus throw (164-11.25) at the Texas Relays...placed fifth in both the men’s shot put (51-08.25) and the men’s hammer throw (183-04) at the LSU Relays...finished third in the men’s discus throw (161-04) at the Louisiana Classics...earned a second-place finish in the shot put (52-10.25) and a third-place finish in discus at the McNeese Cowboy Relays.
 
2013 Indoor: placed third in the shotput and fifth in the weight throw at the McNeese Indoor II...won the shot put (54-00.50) competition and placed fifth in the weight throw (56-06.50) at the McNeese Indoor I...claimed fourth in the shot put at the ASU Invitational
 
2012 Outdoors: Joined the team late in the season, but threw 49.68m in the Discus Throw at the Southland Championships.
 
High School: An honorable mention Class 5A All-State selection at Ponchatoula High … coached by Mike Baiamonte … named first-team All-District 7-5A and Defensive MVP … named a Scholar-Athlete by WWL-TV and McDonald’s … captured the USA Junior Olympic National Championship in Weightlifting (Unlimited Division) … claimed top honors in the shot put at the 2010 Class 5A State Track and Field Championships.

Personal: Born in Hammond, La. … One of Stanley Ray and Diane Meyers Kinchen’s three children … Has a brother, Nicholas, and sister, Kimberly, who are both Southeastern alums … Nephew of Donald Meyers, who lettered in football at Southeastern from 1976-79 … Hobbies include fishing, swimming, basketball, weightlifting, and video games … Elected as Mr. PHS in 2011 at Ponchatoula High School … Majoring in Physics.
