2013 Southland Conference Co-Track Athlete of the Week - 4x4 (Feb. 18)

2013 Outdoor: placed third (3:45.52) at the Tulane Team Challenge in the men’s 4x400-meter team relay... came in 3rd in the men’s 400-meter dash (49.74) at the Southeastern Lion Invitational.

2013 Indoor: turned in arguably one the Lions’ best performances of the day at the ASU Invitational, finishing second in the men’s 4x400-meter team relay with a time of three minutes, 22.32 seconds... claimed victory with the best time (3 minutes, 19.95 seconds) in the 4x4oo-meter team relay at LSU Twilight... finished fourth (3:20.87) in the 4x400-meter team relay at the 2013 Southland Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships.

High School: Earned four letters as a member of the track and field squad at Bonnabel … captain of the team for three years … won the 400-meter dash (50.91 seconds) at the District 9-5A meet as a junior … placed fourth in the 400-meter dash (49.86 sec.) as a senior at the Region III-5A Championships.

Personal: Born in Kenner, La. … son of Tremayne Turner and Dena Daniels.
