2024 [SOPHOMORE]: Appeared in 14 games on the mound, all in relief … compiled a 3-1 win-loss record and three saves to go along with a 6.54 ERA in 31.2 innings pitched … allowed 23 hits and 38 walks, striking out 60 batters for an average of 17.05 K/9 … earned wins against Lamar CC (2/10), Western Texas (3/8) and New Mexico JC (3/29) … picked up saves against Otero (2/17), Amarillo College (3/22) and Odessa (4/12) … also produced a slash line of .338 / .422 / .456, going 23-for-68 at the plate with eight doubles … drove in 15 runs and scored another 16 for the Tejanos … drew 10 walks and struck out 14 times … stole three bases in six attempts … recorded multiple hits in eight games.
 
2023 [FRESHMAN]: Appeared in one game on the mound … logged one scoreless inning against Sul Ross State (2/15), walking one and striking out one batter … primarily an outfielder, playing in 53 games … produced a slash line of .329 / .408 / .634, going 53-for-161 at the plate with 14 doubles, four triples and nine home runs … drove in 44 runs and scored another 39 for the Tejanos … drew 16 walks and struck out 43 times … stole four bases in six attempts … recorded multiple hits in 15 games … drove in multiple runs 13 times, including a career-best seven in the first game of a doubleheader against Frank Phillips College (3/11) … homered against Western Oklahoma State (2/25), Community Christian (3/3), once each in both games of the doubleheader against Frank Phillips, Clarendon (3/17 and 3/18), Amarillo College (3/24), New Mexico Military Institute (4/1) and Western Texas (4/8).
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Played baseball (second base, pitcher, outfield) for Willie Romo at Montwood HS in El Paso, Texas … earned All-District honors as a second baseman.
 
PERSONAL: Born in El Paso, Texas … son of Cindy and Antonio Torres … has two older siblings, Alexia and Gaby … father played collegiate football at Eastern New Mexico … enjoys playing golf and video games … majoring in criminal justice at Southeastern.
