NACOGDOCHES, Texas – The Southeastern Louisiana University women's basketball team ended January with a loss to Stephen F. Austin in an 83-55 Southland Conference matchup.
Southeastern (2-18, 1-12 in SLC) was unable to keep up with SFA (15-7, 9-4 in SLC) on the offensive side of the floor as the Ladyjacks posted a 48-point second half.
Aliyah Collins led SLU offensively, notching a team-leading 14 points.
Taylor Wilkins (12) and
Bethany Graves (11) also scored in the double-digits with the former doing so for the first time as a Lady Lion.
Natalie Huff and
Mia Ramos each tied for the game-leading mark of three steals.
Key Roseby (19 points), Kaylinn Kemp (14), Anika Hyland (11), Aziyah Farrier (10), and Lydia Cajuste (10) kept the train going for the Ladyjacks on the offensive end. Farrier (13) and Roseby (10) recorded double-digit rebounds to each have a double-double on the day.
The Lady Lions will be back in the University Center Thursday, at 6 p.m., when Southeastern hosts UIW. The game will be televised on ESPN+ and can be heard on KSLU 90.9 The Lion, online at either

Thursday's game against UIW will be White Out/Military Appreciation Night. Fans can join in and support the Lady Lions by wearing white to the game. SLU will be also honoring the military when the Lady Lions face the Cardinals.
