HAMMOND, La. – Freshman right-hander Will Kinzeler allowed one baserunner during his five-inning stint Sunday, but it was not enough to hold off a late charge by Team GATA as they rallied for 6-4 win in Southeastern Louisiana's fall intrasquad scrimmage at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field.

Kinzeler allowed a leadoff double inside the third-base bag before retiring the next 14 batters he faced. The native of Mandeville, Louisiana handed Team Mamba's 4-0 lead over to the bullpen, but a combination of three pitchers was unable to stop GATA's comeback.
 
Jacob Burke, Brandon Hale, Trey Harrington, Cade Scott and Matt Taylor all drove in runs for GATA.

Harrison Haley (1-2) earned the win, tossing 2.1 scoreless innings of relief. Noah Hughes closed out the game with two a pair of scoreless frames, earning his first save of the fall. Ryan Keeley (0-1) suffered the loss, allowing three runs – two earned – in 0.1 innings of work.

Champ Artigues wrapped up a strong weekend at the plate with a 3-for-5 showing Sunday and an RBI. Burke (2-for-2), Bryce Grizzaffi (2-for-4), Harrington (2-for-3), Evan Keller (2-for-4) and Taylor (2-for-4) also turned in multi-hit performances. Senior transfer Gaby Cruz reached in all five plate appearances, going 1-for-1 with four walks.
