SPRING, Texas –  Logan Kuehn and William Meyers finished tied for 14^th at +2 Tuesday in the final round of the Colin Montgomerie Invitational at Augusta Pines Golf Club (par 72, 7,041 yards).
 
Kuehn, out of Lake Charles, Louisiana, had sporadic final round finishing with three birdies, five bogeys and a double bogey. 
 
The junior had a terrific first day to put himself in good position heading into Tuesday's final round after shooting 71 (-1) in both the first and second rounds. The St. Louis Catholic grad compiled 12 birdies, 10 bogeys and one double bogey for the 54-hole tournament.
 
Meyers, a senior, started the final round in great shape after four birdies and one bogey in the first 10 holes putting him one shot back of the lead.
 
However, the Baton Rouge, Louisiana native finished the round with five bogeys over the last eight holes shooting 74 (+2). The Catholic High grad finished +2 for the three rounds which was tied for 15^th place. He totaled an eagle, 11 birdies, and 15 bogeys for the tournament.
 
UT Rio Grande Valley won the 12-team tournament, hosted by Houston Baptist, at +3. The University of New Orleans and Midland Community College finished tied for second at +5 while SLU finished in ninth place.
 
J.T. Pittman of Midland Community College won the individual title shooting -4 while the University of Houston's George Gardner finished second at -3.
 
The Lions will be back in action at the Spring Classic in Florence, Alabama Monday and Tuesday March 23-24.
