HAMMOND, La.  – The Southeastern Louisiana golf, baseball, basketball, softball and track teams will all be in action during this week in Southeastern Athletics.
 
The Lion golf team will open the spring portion of its schedule this week. On Monday and Tuesday, Southeastern will compete in the La Tour Intercollegiate, hosted by Nicholls in Thibodaux, Louisiana.
 
The SLU baseball team (1-1) will open its home schedule this week, hosting four games at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field. On Tuesday, the Lions welcome UL Lafayette for a 6 p.m. contest. The first 300 fans at the Lions-Cajuns contest will receive a "Lion Up or Leave" rally towel to be waived whenever Southeastern hits a home run this season.
 
Southeastern will welcome Jacksonville this weekend for a three-game series. The set opens with a 6 p.m. contest on Friday, continues on Saturday at 2 p.m. and concludes on Sunday at 1 p.m.
 
Saturday is National Margarita Day at Alumni Field. Fans 21 and older can visit the Wiseguy's Daiquiris trailer for $4 margaritas. Tuesday and Sunday will feature Cane's Challenges. If the Lions score five or more runs either game, fans can redeem their game ticket or student coupon at their local participating Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers for a free combo with the purchase of another of equal or greater value.
 
The Southeastern men's basketball team (6-20, 3-12 Southland) will continue Southland Conference play this week. On Saturday, SLU host Abilene Christian at 4 p.m. in the University Center.
 
The SLU women's basketball team (10-13, 7-7 Southland) opens the week on the road, facing conference foe Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Wednesday at 7 p.m. On Saturday, the Lady Lions open its final home stand of the season with a 1 p.m. contest versus ACU.
 
Jyar Francis is Saturday's Spotlight Player of the Game. The first 150 fans will receive a trading card featuring the Ponchatoula, Louisiana native courtesy of PRIDE.
 
The Lady Lion softball team (8-3) will host Mississippi State on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at North Oak Park. Tuesday will also feature a Cane's Challenge. If the Lady Lions score three or more runs, fans can redeem their game ticket or student coupon at their local participating Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers for a free combo with the purchase of another of equal or greater value.
 
Southeastern then heads to Youngsville, Louisiana to compete in the Mardi Gras Mambo. The Lady Lions open the tournament on Friday, facing Middle Tennessee State at 3 p.m. On Saturday, SLU takes on Alcorn State at 5 p.m. and Mississippi Valley State at 7 p.m.
Southeastern meets ULM on Sunday at 2 p.m. in the tournament finale.
 
The Southeastern men's and women's track and field teams will compete in its final tune-up for next month's Southland Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships. On Friday, the Lions and Lady Lions will be in Baton Rouge for the 11:30 a.m. LSU Twilight.

Tuesday, Friday and Sunday's baseball games, as well as Saturday's basketball doubleheader will be broadcast live in the Hammond area on KSLU-FM (90.9), online at www.LionSports.net/listenlive and via the TuneIn Radio and Lions Gameday Experience apps.
 
The Lady Lion women's basketball contest at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi will air on the Islander Digital Network.
 
The Southeastern Sports Network will offer a free video stream of all of this week's baseball games, Tuesday's softball contest and Saturday's hoops doubleheader. Tune in online at www.LionSports.net or the Lions Game Day Experience app for Android or iOS devices. Fans can also watch on Southeastern's YouTube channel (/SLUathletics) with any mobile, tablet or smart TV device (e.g., Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Android TV and Roku).
 
The 2020 edition of Inside Southeastern Baseball with Matt Riser debuts Monday at noon from Blackened Brew in downtown Hammond. Riser joins host Allen Waddell at lunchtime every Monday during the regular season for the 60-minute radio show, talking the latest in Southeastern baseball. Each week, select Lion players will also join the duo. Blackened Brew is located at 112 W. Thomas St.
 
The show airs in the Hammond area on KSLU-FM (90.9), online at www.LionSports.net/listenlive and via the Lions Gameday Experience and TuneIn Radio apps. A live video stream of the show will also be available courtesy the Southeastern Sports Network (www.youtube.com/sluathletics).
 
The latest episode of Inside Southeastern Basketball with David Kiefer is set for Monday at 7 p.m. Hosted by Waddell, the show will feature Kiefer breaking down the previous games and previewing the upcoming games each week through March 2 from Rainbow Daiquiris located at 14384 W. Thomas Street. Fans can submit questions for Kiefer at LionSports.Net for the "Ask the Coach" segment.
 
The show will air on the Southeastern Sports Radio Network (KSLU-FM (90.9), Kajun 107.1 FM, The Highway 104.7 FM and The Boss 103.7 FM/1400 AM). Fans can also
