HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana University Athletics was represented by 49 student-athletes who had degrees conferred at the university's Spring 2026 commencement exercises in the University Center.
 
The track and field program led the department with 10 graduates Saturday. The two-time reigning Southland Conference regular season champion SLU baseball team followed with nine graduates.
 
The Lion football team graduated seven former players, followed by softball and indoor volleyball with five apiece. Soccer and beach volleyball each had four graduates. Men's basketball was represented by two graduates this semester, while the tennis, golf and cheerleading programs had one apiece.
