HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana women's basketball team officially announced its 2020-21 schedule on Wednesday.
 
Southeastern will open the 2020-21 season by hosting Alcorn State on Nov. 25 in the University Center. Other non-conference opponents visiting Hammond include UL Lafayette (Dec. 12) and Utah State (Dec. 21).
 
The Lady Lions are also slated to open its road schedule at a tournament at Southern Miss, facing Troy on Nov. 27 and host USM on Nov. 28. Southeastern will also face Stephen F. Austin (Dec. 8) and Lamar (Dec. 16) during the non-conference portion of its schedule. Southland Conference foes LU and SFA will host SLU in non-conference games, as neither team is on Southeastern's league schedule.
 
The Lady Lions will start said league schedule on Jan. 2, welcoming Texas A&M-Corpus Christi to Hammond. Southeastern's home Southland slate includes visits from McNeese (Jan. 20), Northwestern State (Jan. 23), Central Arkansas (Jan. 27), New Orleans (Jan. 30), Sam Houston State (Feb. 10), Nicholls (Feb. 13) and Abilene Christian (Feb. 20).
 
SLU will open its conference road schedule at Sam Houston State on Jan. 6. The Lady Lions also visit league foes Nicholls (Jan. 9), Abilene Christian (Jan. 16), Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Feb. 17), McNeese (Feb. 24), Northwestern State (Feb. 27), Central Arkansas (March 3) and New Orleans (March 6).
 
The Southland Conference Women's Basketball Tournament is scheduled for March 11-14 at the Leonard E. Merrell Center in Katy, Texas.
