HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana returns home to the University Center this week for a pair of Southland Conference volleyball matches, hosting McNeese Thursday at 7 p.m. and Lamar Saturday at 1 p.m.
The first 100 Southeastern students at Thursday's match against McNeese will receive a free spirit item from Southeastern Athletics courtesy the Pennington Center. Students will also be able to sign up for intramural volleyball at the marketing table.
Admission to the matches against McNeese (7-5, 0-0 Southland) and Lamar (5-6, 0-1 Southland) is free. Fans are asked to enter the University Center upstairs at Gate 3. Lady Lion volleyball (5-9, 0-1 Southland) posters and magnet schedules will be available in the Fan Zone.
The new Southeastern Sports Network will offer a free video stream of each Southeastern match this week. Tune in online at www.LionSports.net or the Lions' Gameday Experience app for Android or iOS devices. Fans can also watch on Southeastern's YouTube channel (/SLUathletics) with any mobile, tablet or smart TV device (e.g., Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Android TV and Roku).

NOTEWORTHY
- With a .206 team attack percentage, Southeastern ranks sixth in the Southland Conference.
- Sam Gomez (.311), a junior from Mandeville, Louisiana, and Jodi Edo (.292) rank third and seventh, respectively, in the Southland.
- Caroline Golden, a junior from Mandeville, leads the squad in kills (2.65 k/set), followed by Edo (2.53 k/set), Gomez (2.31 k/set) and Karlee Wilkerson (2.04 k/set).
- Baylee Laskoskie, a freshman from Spring, Texas, ranks fifth in the conference with an average of 7.69 assists per set.
- Ariana Hebert, a freshman from Lafayette, Louisiana, ranks seventh in service aces (0.38 sa/set).
- Edo, a senior from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, now ranks ninth in the Southland in blocks (0.90 b/set).
- Alexis Pratt, a junior from Houston, Texas, leads the team in digs (3.19 d/set), followed by Golden (2.73 d/set), Lizzy Low (2.44 d/set), Laskoskie (2.00 d/set) and Jolie Hidalgo (2.00 d/set).

Southeastern returns to the road for a pair of conference matches next week, Tuesday at Nicholls and Saturday at Sam Houston State.
LAST MATCH
Southeastern Louisiana split a pair of matches Saturday at the Comfort Inn-vitational, defeating Coppin State in four sets, 23-25, 25-14, 25-18, 25-19, and dropping its final match to host Morehead State, 25-13, 25-16, 25-19, at Johnson Arena in Morehead, Kentucky.
Against Morehead State, Gomez posted a team-high 10 kills, Laskoskie handed out 26 assists and Pratt picked up 11 digs.
