HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University volleyball team is set to play the remaining matches of its spring schedule in the coming weeks. The program will host its upcoming spring contests, starting with a home tournament at KINS Gym, Saturday, Mar. 28.
In Saturday's tournament, Southern Miss, Mississippi College, and Southern University will be visiting KINS Gym. Kyra McKelvey is returning to the Lady Lions after posting a career-best year in 2025, winning several awards, including Southland Conference Player of the Year and Louisiana Sports Writers Association All-Louisiana First Team honors.
After the tournament, the Lady Lions will host LSU, Wednesday, Apr. 15. Southeastern is inviting local volleyball clubs to attend the 7 p.m. game for Club Night. Jurnee Robinson had a standout campaign for the Tigers last season, being named the LSWA Player of the Year and an All-SEC First Team honoree.
The exhibition matches will conclude with a Monday evening match against Xavier (La.), Friday, Apr. 17. The first serve of SLU's match against the Gold Nuggets is set for 6:30 p.m.
DIGGIN' IT CLUB / S CLUB
Fans interested in becoming active supporters of the Southeastern volleyball program are encouraged to join the Diggin' It Club. Lion volleyball alums are encouraged to join the exclusive S Club, which is restricted to Southeastern athletic letter winners.
