HAMMOND, La. – With excessive rain and lightning in the afternoon forecast, Southeastern Louisiana has postponed Saturday's game against Sam Houston State. The teams will now wrap up the series with a 1 p.m. doubleheader Sunday at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field.
 
Fans may use a ticket to Saturday's postponed game or Sunday's regularly scheduled game for admission to both games Sunday afternoon.
 
Numerous promotions are planned for Sunday's doubleheader. The Southeastern Athletic Ticket Office is running a Mother's Day ticket special, offering a pair of general admission tickets for $12.
 
It is also the final Local Hero Appreciation Day of the season. Every Sunday home game throughout the 2019 season, the Lions give thanks to first responders, military personnel and service members with a discounted ticket available at the ticket booth (must have a valid service ID).
 
Approximately 30 minutes before the first pitch, Southeastern will honor the largest senior class in the nation as part of its annual Senior Day celebration.
 
The game is also a Cane's Challenge contest. If Southeastern scores five or more runs Sunday versus the Bearkats, fans can redeem their game ticket or student coupon at their local participating Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers to receive a free combo with the purchase of another of equal or greater value.
 
Both games of the doubleheader can be heard in the Hammond area on the flagship station of the Southeastern Sports Radio Network, KSLU 90.9 FM, online at www.LionSports.net/ListenLive and via both the Lions Gameday Experience and TuneIn Radio apps.

Southeastern senior right-hander Mason Knopp (6-1, 3.91) will oppose Bearkat senior left-hander Seth Ballew (2-4, 7.40) in the opening game of the doubleheader. The Lions have not announced a starting pitcher to oppose Sam Houston State junior southpaw Dominic Robinson (2-0, 3.65) in Sunday's second game.

Office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Fridays. The ticket booth at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field opens exactly one hour before first pitch.

General Admission tickets for Lion home games are $9 for adults and $6 for children (ages 3-12). Southeastern students are admitted free with a valid university ID card.

Southeastern Athletics has instituted a clear bag policy for all ticketed events, effective with the start of the 2018 fall semester. The policy mirrors safety precautions taken upon entrance to professional and collegiate sporting venues throughout the country.
