HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana middle blocker
Jodi Edo earned first-team All-Louisiana honors for her standout performance in 2019, the Louisiana Sports Writers Association announced Monday.
A senior from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Edo led the Southland with 38 solo blocks, the most by a conference player in nearly a decade. The total also ranks 10
th in school single-season history. She ranked third in the Southland with a .330 attack percentage, tying a program single-season record.
Edo also ranked third in the Southland in total blocks (120), sixth in total points (418), seventh in points per set (3.63) and eighth in total kills (338).
She is the first Lady Lion to earn All-Louisiana honors from the LSWA since Landry Bullock following the 2015 season.
