HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana wraps up the regular season Saturday at 1 p.m. with a Senior Day volleyball match against Southland Conference foe Sam Houston State at the University Center.
The Lady Lions (14-5, 8-7 Southland) enter the contest in seventh place in the conference standings, once game back of Houston Baptist (17-13, 9-6 Southland) and Southland Conference Tournament-host Central Arkansas (15-13, 9-6 Southland).

Jo Simovic will be honored in a Senior Day ceremony.
Admission to Saturday's match is free. Fans are asked to enter the University Center upstairs at Gate 3. Lady Lion volleyball posters and magnet schedules will also be available in the Fan Zone.

NOTEWORTHY
- Jodi Edo leads the Southland in solo blocks (34) while also ranking second in attack percentage (.342), fourth in total blocks (106) and fifth in total points (378). Her attack percentage is the best in school single-season history and solo blocks rank 10th. She also ranks ninth on the program's career solo blocks (50) list.
- Edo (2.92 k/set), Caroline Golden (2.76 k/set) and Sam Gomez (2.23 k/set) are Southeastern's top attackers.
- Baylee Laskoskie ranks second in the Southland with 9.25 assists per set.
- Golden, a junior from Mandeville, Louisiana, ranks seventh in service aces (0.35 sa/set).
- Alexis Pratt (2.97 d/set), Lizzy Low (2.84 d/set), Golden (2.50 d/set) and Jolie Hidalgo (2.37 d/set) represent the Lady Lions' top defenders along the back line.
- Against conference competition, the Lady Lions have allowed the third-fewest kills (11.98 k/set) and the fourth-lowest opponent attack percentage (.184).

Southeastern's season continues next week in the first round of the Southland Conference Volleyball Tournament. LAST MATCH
Southeastern clinched a spot in the 2019 Southland Conference Volleyball Tournament with a four-set win over rival Nicholls, 25-27, 25-23, 26-24, 25-14, Tuesday at the University Center.
Golden established a career-high in kills for the second time in three matches. The match-high 22 kills also marked the third time in as many matches she tallied 20-plus. Finishing off the all-around performance with 11 digs, Golden has turned in a double-double in back-to-back matches.
Edo continued her dominating play this season, adding 21 kills to the Lady Lions' offensive efforts. It marked the second time this month she contributed 20-plus kills.
Laskoskie posted her 11th double-double of the season and third straight. The freshman setter from Spring, Texas handed out 51 assists and contributed 13 digs to the defensive effort. Laskoskie topped 50 assists for the third time in four matches, falling four shy of tying her career-best. She also served up a match-high three aces.
Gomez, a junior from Mandeville, had a hand in six of the Lady Lions' nine team blocks.
Lizzy Low, a freshman from Lafayette, Louisiana, established a career-high with 26 digs to lead all players.
Jolie Hidalgo, also a freshman from Lafayette, chipped in 16 digs for the Lady Lions.
