Southeastern (14-5) took 2-of-3 games from Lamar over the weekend, but had its 10-game winning streak snapped Sunday by the Cardinals. LSU (16-5) swept a three-game Southeastern Conference series from Georgia over the weekend after dropping a non-conference game to Southland foe New Orleans earlier in the week.

Carson Crites (.282) lead Southeastern at the plate. Schwaner owns a team-best five home runs and Southland Conference-leading 30 RBIs. Avans has a team-high nine stolen bases.
