HAMMOND – The Southeastern Louisiana women's basketball team will return home to host Bethune-Cookman on Friday for a 1 p.m. non-conference contest in the University Center.

Tyler Morrison will be Friday's Spotlight Players of the Game. The first 150 fans will receive trading cards featuring the Lady Lion rookies courtesy of PRIDE.
Southeastern will be looking to bounce back from a 109-38 loss at No. 5 Baylor. The Lady Bears outrebounded SLU, 43-14, and attempted 50 free throws on the way to the victory.

Baylie Stears led the Lady Lions with two steals each. Underwood also led the Lady Lions with three rebounds.
Southeastern is averaging 54.0 points per game heading into Friday's contest. Underwood leads the team with 16.3 points per game, followed by Morrison (6.3 ppg), Brailey (6.0 ppg), Warren (5.5 ppg) and Scholvin (5.0 ppg). Morrison also leads the team with 4.0 assists per contest. SLU will need to limit its turnovers, as the Lady Lions are averaging 23.3 turnovers per contest.
The Lady Lions are averaging 32.8 rebounds per outing, though it enters Friday's game with a minus-14.4 rebounding margin. Morrison leads SLU with 6.3 rebounds per contest.
Defensively, Southeastern is yielding 81.2 points and forcing 20.0 turnovers per game. Pacing the squad's defensive effort is Morrison, who leads the team with three steals per contest.
SLU will be facing a Bethune-Cookman team that is looking to snap a four-game losing skid. After opening the season with a 55-45 victory over Edward Waters, the Wildcats have lost four straight road games by a combined 13 points. BCU have fallen to Jacksonville (69-63), Stetson (63-60), Prairie View (66-64) and Southern (61-59) heading into Friday's game.
Taylor Houston leads a balanced Bethune-Cookman attack with 10.6 points per game. Kailyn Williams (9.5 ppg), Kendra Cooper (9.2 ppg) and Emily Williams (9.0 ppg) are the other leading scorers for the Wildcats.
Houston (7.2 rpg) and Kailyn Williams (7.0 rpg) are BCU's most productive performers on the boards. Emily Williams leads the Wildcats with 4.0 assists per contest.
Friday's game will be the second meeting all-time between the Lady Lions and the Wildcats. During the 1982-83 season, Southeastern defeated Bethune-Cookman, 69-59.
