NEW ORLEANS, La. – Southeastern Louisiana wraps up the 2016 volleyball regular season Saturday with a 2 p.m. match against New Orleans at the Human Performance Center.
The Lady Lions (6-22, 5-10 Southland) enter the final match of the season fighting for a spot in next week's Southland Conference Volleyball Tournament in Conway, Arkansas.
Southeastern must defeat New Orleans and, in addition, needs either a Lamar (6-21, 6-9 Southland) or McNeese (10-20, 6-9 Southland) loss Saturday to close out the regular season. The Lady Lions hold the tie-breaker over both the Cardinals and Cowgirls.

The Privateers defeated Southeastern in five sets on Oct. 8 in Hammond, Louisiana.
Chloee Holden (2.13 kills per set), a freshman from Alvin, Texas,
Landry Bullock (2.00 k/s), a senior from Spring, Texas,
Elyssa Purcell (1.81 k/s, 3.98 assists per set), a redshirt freshman also from Alvin, and
Parrie Hartley (1.81 k/s), a senior from Columbus, Texas, pace the Lady Lion offense with a helping hand from
Haley Baker (5.26 a/s), a sophomore from Elkton, Maryland.
Bullock, who has recorded 886 kills in her career, currently ranks 10th all-time at Southeastern in kills.
Rachael Bunn (0.57 blocks per set), a senior from San Juan Capistrano, California, and
Savannah Alcazar (0.56 b/s), a freshman from League City, Texas, are the team's top blocking threats. Bunn is third in block assists (269) and ranks fourth in total blocks (308) on Southeastern's career list.
Monica Ramon (3.81 d/set), a sophomore from San Antonio, Texas,
Madi Odom (3.06 d/s), a senior from Kingwood, Texas, Purcell (2.40 d/s) and
Macey Stock (2.38 d/s), a sophomore from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, anchor the defense along the back line.
Purcell leads the nation with eight triple-doubles this season.
The Privateers swept past Jackson State in a non-conference match Tuesday, snapping a 10-match skid.
Jordan Yauch (2.78 k/s), Blessing Dunn (1.99 k/s), Brianna Vega (1.93 k/s) lead the UNO offensive attack under the direction of setter Sarah Thomas (9.54 a/s).
Kaitlyn Grice (0.89 b/s), Keke Richards (0.59 b/s) and Rondolyn Bryant (0.57 b/s) are the Privateers' top blocking threats while Samantha Uline (3.52 d/s) and Dunn (3.03 d/s) are their top defenders along the back line.
