MOBILE, Ala. – Southeastern Louisiana returns to the diamond Tuesday, facing South Alabama at 6:30 p.m. at Stanky Field.
Southeastern (12-5) and South Alabama (11-5) match up for the first of two times this season, with the Jaguars returning the trip to Hammond, Louisiana, on April 7.

Southeastern, which picked up a conference series victory over Incarnate Word over the weekend, had its seven-game winning streak snapped in the series finale.

Carson Crites (.340) lead Southeastern at the plate. Midyett's three home runs are a team high.
Ryan Byers owns a team-best 17 RBIs and eight stolen bases.
Julian Service and Midyett lead the team with 15 runs scored each.
The Lions are hitting .303 as a team and have been successful on 26-of-36 stolen base attempts. The pitching staff has compiled a 3.98 ERA, fanning 128 batters in 149.1 innings pitched.
Southeastern will send junior right-hander
Pat Cashman (1-2, 3.00) to the mound against Jaguar southpaw Zach McMullen (0-1, 6.14).
South Alabama leads the Sun Belt Conference in batting average (.296), on-base percentage (.413), runs scored (98), hits (159), walks (83), hit by pitch (32) and sacrifice flies (11). The Jaguars rank second in the league with 23 stolen bases, and are tied for second in RBI (81). The pitching staff has compiled a 3.43 ERA, fanning 119 batters in 147 innings of work.
Drew LaBounty (.371), Cole Billingsley (.370), Bud Collura (.343) and Adam Ballew (.326) lead the Jaguars at the plate. Ballew owns a team-high 16 RBIs and Collura has swiped a team-best five bags.
South Alabama, winner of its last two, picked up a conference series victory over Arkansas-Little Rock this past weekend. Last season, the Lions defeated South Alabama by scores of 9-3 in Hammond and 5-0 in Mobile.
Following the trip to South Alabama, Southeastern returns home to host Abilene Christian in a three-game, Southland Conference series Friday through Sunday.
