Lions Prepare To Take On No. 2-ranked LSU

Game scheduled for a rainy Wednesday

BATON ROUGE, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana baseball team travels to No. 2-ranked LSU for an early season, midweek contest Wednesday at Alex Box Stadium. First pitch is slated for 6:30 p.m.

With periods of heavy rainfall expected throughout the day Wednesday, LSU officials will make a final determination on the game's fate at approximately 10 a.m.

Southeastern (5-3) faces LSU (6-1) for the first time since an 8-4 Tiger win in the 2014 NCAA Baton Rouge Regional.

The game can be heard in the Hammond area on KSLU 90.9 FM, online and either the KSLU or TuneIn Radio apps. Fans can keep up with the game through live statistics or by following SLUathletics on Twitter. It will also be broadcast on the SEC Network+ with streaming video available through the WatchESPN app or the network's website. Following a midweek loss to fellow Southland Conference opponent Nicholls State this past Wednesday, the Tigers swept a three-game series from Boston College.
