MONROE, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana baseball team travels to the University of Louisiana at Monroe to open a three-game series Friday at 6 p.m. at Warhawk Field.

Southeastern (6-2) will face the Warhawks (4-5) Saturday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. to complete the series.
The Lions shut out Grambling State, 13-0, this past Wednesday at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field. Senior right-hander
Sean Kennel (1-1) tossed six shutout innings to pick up the win for Southeastern, tying a career high with seven strikeouts.
Southeastern pounded out 19 hits against seven different Grambling pitchers in the win.
Jameson Fisher collected a career-high four hits, recording his team-leading fifth multi-hit game of the season. Every starter in the Southeastern lineup collected at least one hit.

Brett Hoffman (.345) lead Southeastern at the plate. Hoffman leads the team with five doubles and 11 RBIs while Godbold, the reigning Southland Conference Hitter of the Week, has one home run and 10 RBIs.
The Lions are hitting .319 as team and have been successful on 20-of-26 stolen base attempts. Southeastern's pitching staff has compiled a 2.71 ERA, fanning 55 batters in 73 innings pitched.
Junior right-hander
Andro Cutura (1-0, 0.64) earns the series opening start for the Lions, drawing senior southpaw Alex Dumaine (1-1, 2.38) for the Warhawks.
Saturday the Lions will send sophomore right-hander
Tate Scioneaux (2-0, 0.75), a member of the Southland's preseason All-Conference second team, to the mound against ULM freshman right-hander Josh Leone (1-1, 6.14).
Junior right-hander
Kyle Keller (1-0, 0.82) draws the starting nod for Southeastern in Sunday's 1 p.m. series finale against Warhawk righty Alex Hermeling (0-0, 1.50).
ULM is coming off a pair of one-run losses at Ole Miss this past Tuesday and Wednesday.
Sophomore outfielder Jacob Stockton (.333-0-2) is the Warhawks leading hitter, while senior outfielder Dalton Herrington (.281-1-8) is the team's leading power threat. ULM is hitting .202 as a team with three home runs and eight stolen bases. The pitching staff has compiled a 3.22 ERA, fanning 62 batters in 81 innings pitched.
The Lions have not faced ULM since 2006, the Warhawks final season in the Southland Conference.
Southeastern wraps up the four-game road trip with a 6 p.m. contest at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette on Ash Wednesday.
