HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana baseball team renews its rivalry with in-state foe Grambling State Wednesday at 6 p.m., wrapping up a five-game homestand at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field.
Southeastern students will be able to get free food at the game, while supplies last.
The game can be heard in the Hammond area on KSLU 90.9 FM, online and either the KSLU or TuneIn Radio smartphone apps. Southeastern (5-2) faces the Tigers (1-6) for the first time since the opening games of the 1992 season, having won the last four contests between the schools. The Lions swept a three-game series from from George Washington at home this past weekend.

Kevin Carr (.318) lead Southeastern at the plate. Hoffman leads the team with four doubles and 10 RBIs while Godbold, the reigning Southland Conference Hitter of the Week, has one home run and nine RBIs.
The Lions are hitting .295 as team and have been successful on 18-of-23 stolen base attempts. Southeastern's pitching staff has compiled a 3.09 ERA, fanning 47 batters in 64 innings pitched.
Senior right-hander
Sean Kennel (0-1, 7.95) earns the start for the Lions. Grambling has not announced a starting pitcher for the contest.
Korey Hall (.393) and Juan Bueno (.387) lead the Tigers at the plate. Bueno has a team-high five doubles and six RBIs. Grambling is hitting .251 as a team and has nine stolen bases. The Tiger pitching staff has compiled a 6.39 ERA, fanning 32 batters in 62 innings pitched.
Following the game, Southeastern embarks on a four-game road trip with stops in Monroe and Lafayette, La.
