HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana volleyball team hosts Dig the Lions against McNeese State, Tuesday, in a Southland Conference match at 7 p.m. in the University Center.
Dig the Lions will feature free food, t-shirts and games for Southeastern students while supplies last. Food will be available once gates open one hour before the match and t-shirts will be given away throughout the contest.

Southeastern (5-11, 2-2 Southland) dropped its last contest, a four-set decision, to defending conference champ Central Arkansas this past Saturday, but has won three of its last five matches overall.
In that contest,
Landry Bullock (12 kills),
Parrie Hartley (seven kills, .469 attack percentage),
Tiffany Thomas (seven kills) and
Mikayla Shippy (30 assists) led the Southeastern offense. Thomas also had a hand in five of the Lady Lions' blocks.
Brooke Balser (15),
Morgan Todd (15) and Hartley (11) all reached double-digit digs.
For the season, Hartley (2.45 k/set), Thomas (2.29 k/set) and Shippy (8.85 k/set) are leading the way for Southeastern offensively.
Rachael Bunn is the team leader in blocks (0.96 b/set) and Todd is fifth in the Southland with 4.93 digs per set.
McNeese (10-9, 1-3 Southland) was swept in three sets by Sam Houston State in its previous match.
The Cowgirls lead the conference with 125 service aces and have the second-lowest opponent attack percentage (.166).
Southeastern closes out a three-match homestand Saturday with a 2 p.m. contest at the University Center against the University of New Orleans.
