MOBILE, Ala. – The Southeastern Louisiana University baseball team travels to No. 20-ranked South Alabama Tuesday to make up a game originally scheduled to be played in early April. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Stanky Field.

Southeastern (30-18) is coming off a series victory at Central Arkansas, taking two-of-three games in the Southland Conference series. In a three-way tie for second, the Lions are two games behind conference-leading Sam Houston State.

Originally scheduled for April 3 in Mobile, the game was postponed as heavy rains blanketed the gulf coast. Southeastern has won the last two games in the series at Stanky Field.

The game can be heard in the Hammond area on KSLU-FM (90.9), on the internet through the Southeastern athletics website, as well as on the KSLU iPhone and TuneIn Radio apps. Live stats, as well as a live video stream through LionVision (subscription required), will be available. Links to audio, stats and video are located on the baseball schedule page at www.LionSports.net. Mobile links are available at www.LionSports.net/mobile.

Jameson Fisher (.323), Harry Slade (.322) and Ben Hernandez (.313) lead Southeastern at the plate. Fisher has hit a team-high 11 doubles and is tied with Aaron Haag for the team-lead in home runs (three). Slade leads the team with 33 RBIs and 12 stolen bases.

Southeastern will send freshman left-hander Kyle Cedotal (4-4, 5.11) to the hill against Jaguar sophomore left-hander James Traylor (4-3, 4.70).

Jordan Patterson, who is three hits shy of 200 in his career, leads the Jaguars with a .370 batting average and 19 doubles. His .502 on-base percentage is tops in the Sun Belt Conference and 12th nationally. Dustin Dalken, a .341 hitter, has hit a team-high six home runs while Nolan Early (.309) has driven in a team-best 46 runs. Patterson, Jeff DeBlieux and Robby Campbell are tied for the team lead with four stolen bases.

South Alabama (36-13) took the first two games of a Sun Belt series this past weekend at Middle Tennesse State before dropping a 6-5 decision in Sunday's finale. All three games, just like the Lions' series at Central Arkansas, were decided by one run.

Southeastern returns to action Friday at 6 p.m. as the Lions host first-place Sam Houston  in the opener of a three-game, Southland Conference series.
