HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana men's basketball team returns home from a two-game road trip Saturday to host Southeast Missouri State in an 11:30 a.m. contest at the University Center.

The game can be heard in the Hammond area on KSLU 90.9 FM, online or via the TuneIn Radio smartphone app. Fans can watch the contest live on LionVision, Southeastern's subscription-based video stream, or follow live statistics. Links for audio, stats and video are available on the basketball schedule page at www.LionSports.net.

Saturday marks a busy day on the Hammond campus with the city's Christmas parade rolling by the arena at 10 a.m. and Southeastern's first FCS playoff contest later that evening in Strawberry Stadium. Tickets for both contests can be purchased at www.LionSports.net or by calling the Southeastern Athletics Ticket Office at (985) 549-LION.

Southeastern (3-4) has dropped its last two contests following a 62-52 win over Western Illinois, Nov. 26. The Lions have fallen in back-to-back games at North Texas (75-61) and Arkansas (111-65).

JaMichael Hawkins leads Southeastern in scoring, averaging 13 points per game. Devonte Upson (8.9 ppg, 7.0 rebounds) and Antonnio Benton (7.9 ppg, 5.7 rpg) are the next two biggest scoring threats for the Lions as well as being the team's top rebounders.

Southeast Missouri (6-2) comes into the contest riding a four-game winning streak after sweeping through the Cure UCD Classic in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, with wins over Northern Kentucky, Tulane and Texas State.

The Redhawks have five players averaging double-digit points and a sixth falling just shy of the mark. Tyler Stone leads the team in scoring (19.2 ppg), rebounding (9.7 rpg) and blocked shots (10). Other scoring leaders include Jarekious Bradley (18.4 ppg), Antonius Cleveland (11.9 ppg), Darrian Gray (11.3 ppg), Nino Johnson (10.2 ppg) and Lucas Nutt (9.8 ppg).

Southeast Missouri has scored at least 100 points in three of its eight games this season, the last time being, Nov. 30, in a 102-72 win over Tulane.

Southeastern's next two contests will be on the road. The Lions travel to Tupelo, Miss., to face Mississippi State, Dec. 13, at the BancorpSouth Arena and then matchup with Tennessee-Martin, Dec. 21, in a return trip from the 2012 Sears Bracketbusters.
