2013-14 (Junior): Played in all 30 games, starting 27 … averaged 27.2 minutes, 8.3 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.7 blocked shots per contest … led the team in field goal percentage (58.9), free throw attempts (106), rebounds (182) and blocked shots (50) … scored in double digits eight times, including career-best 16 points at Nicholls (1/4) and at Lamar (3/8) … team's leading scorer in both contests … Lions' leading rebounder in 13 contests … hauled in double-digit boards in four contests, including a career-best 13 at Central Arkansas (2/6) … blocked multiple shots against Missouri (3), North Texas (2), Southeast Missouri (2), UT Martin (4), Spring Hill (5), Sam Houston State (4), Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (5), Northwestern State (2) and Stephen F. Austin (2).  

Junior College: Averaged 10.8 points per game, 7.3 rebounds per game and 1.7 blocks per game as a sophomore at Trinidad State Junior College … started 25 games … finished 56th nationally with 45 blocks … scored double-digit points in 19 games ... hauled in double-digit rebounds in five games, recording a double-double in each … scored a season-high 16 points against Colorado Kings as well as Laramie County CC and future Southeastern teammate Julian Chiera … hauled in season-best 17 rebounds in Trinidad's 115-114 win over Laramie … finished the season with a positive assist-to-turnover ratio.

High School: Averaged 11.4 points and 9.8 rebounds per game as a senior at Harrison High School in Colorado Springs, Colo.  … scored double-digit points in 15 games, including season-best 25 points against Woodland Park HS … recorded five double-doubles, posting season-high 20 rebounds against Wasson HS … lists triple-double, against Air Academy, as his biggest sports thrill (16 points, 12 rebounds, 10 blocked shots).

Personal: Born Zwencyl DeVonte Upson in Augusta, Ga. … the son on Zwencyl Upson and Lelinda Parks ... has a younger brother, Demarcus ...  lists his favorite basketball team as the Oklahoma City Thunder and Kevin Durant as his favorite athlete ... his inspiration is his mother and enjoys listening to music and playing video games … majoring in general studies.
