TULSA, Okla. – The Southeastern Louisiana University volleyball team opens a two-match, Southland Conference road trip Thursday with a 7 p.m. match at Oral Roberts.

Southeastern (5-5, 1-1 Southland) split a pair of conference matches last week. The Lady Lions downed McNeese State in four sets, before falling in a hard-fought, five-set match to Lamar.
Ranked third in the conference in hitting percentage (.193), the Lady Lions are led offensively by
Courtney Donald (4.06 kills per set),
Veronica Turk (2.53 k/set),
Shelby Devlin (1.76 k/set) and
Tamra Grayson (1.38 k/set). Donald is second in the Southland in kills per set and third in hitting percentage (.385).
Setter
Becky Bekelja averages 9.33 assists per set, placing her eighth in the conference.
Megan McMillin (4.67 digs per set) anchors the Southeastern defensive effort along with Bekelja (2.39 d/set),
Morgan Todd (2.14 d/set) and
Cherish Krohn (1.97 d/set). McMillin's per-set average is the fourth-best this season in the Southland.
Oral Roberts (4-9, 0-2 Southland) endured a rough welcome to Southland play last week, dropping its first-two conference matches at Sam Houston State and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in straight sets.
The Golden Eagles are led by Tatum Freeden (2.81 k/set), Sheina Fernandes (2.55 k/set) and Jessica Pancratz (2.02 k/set). Setter Laura Taylor is fifth in the conference, averaging 9.92 assists per set.
Libero Bruna Silva leads the Southland with 5.06 digs (per set). Laura Rosa (2.16 d/set), Olivia Ophus (2.04 d/set) and Taylor (2.00 d/set) all contribute heavily to the Oral Roberts defensive effort.
Southeastern wraps up the two-match road trip Saturday at Central Arkansas with a 2 p.m. conference contest.
