HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana volleyball program added a pair of players to its incoming recruiting class head coach Geno Frugoli announced Friday.
Katie Garrity, out of Prince of Peace High School in Carrollton, Texas, and
Morgan Todd, out of Fontainebleau High School in Mandeville, join the roster as back-row players.
Garrity, a defensive specialist, helped lead her team to an undefeated record and a 3A state championship as a junior.
“Katie is an incredible athlete with a true instinct for the game and a high volleyball IQ,” Frugoli said. “Her attitude is infectious and she is a high-energy player.”
Todd, a member of the Louisiana Volleyball Coaches Association All-State team, helped lead Fontainebleau to a state title as a junior.
“Morgan has a constant motor,” Frugoli said. “She is a tough kid who will sacrifice her body for the ball. I think she is among the best back row players in the state of Louisiana.”
