CONWAY, Ark. – The Southeastern Louisiana University men's basketball team returns to action on Wednesday when it faces Southland Conference rival Central Arkansas in a 7 p.m. contest at the Farris Center.

Southeastern (8-8, 2-2 Southland) looks to close out a two-game road trip after falling at Nicholls State, 66-52, in its last game on Saturday. The Lions, who are 7-1 all-time against UCA (4-14, 0-5 Southland), have dropped their last three games away from the University Center since a 76-60 win over Mississippi Valley State on Dec. 30.
Trent Hutchin, who is seventh in the Southland Conference in scoring, leads Southeastern at 14.9 points per game followed by
David Ndoumba (10.3) and
Brandon Fortenberry (10.1).

Jason Marks (4.9) are next in scoring for Southeastern, which averages 69.4 points per game and is fourth in the league in scoring defense (68.4).
UCA, under first-year coach and former Arkansas All-American Corliss Williamson, has lost its last six games including home games against Lamar and Northwestern State. The Bears, who are averaging 71.3 points per game, are led in scoring by Imad Qahwash at 12.8 points per game.
Dewan Clayborn (9.8), Mark Rutledge (9.1) and Tadre Sheppard (9.0) are next in scoring for UCA with Sheppard pulling down a team-high 5.2 rebounds per game.
Southeastern claimed both meetings last season, including a 65-60 overtime decision in Conway.
