Third on the team in scoring (8.4 points) while finishing second in 3-pointers made (44), 3-pointers attempted (114) and fourth in 3-point field goal percentage (.386) … appeared in 27 games for the Lions with 15 starts … finished 10th in the Southland Conference in 3-point field goal percentage … scored in double figures in 10 games on the season … came off the bench to score a season-high 24 points in 84-79 loss to Sam Houston State … averaged 14.6 points per game in final three contests of the season scoring 11 against Northwestern State, 17 against Texas State and 16 against Sam Houston State … scored 16 points with four 3-pointers in win over Spring Hill College … added 11 points off the bench in Southeastern debut against University of Science and Arts (Okla.) … scored 11 points against Jacksonville State and 12 against Millsaps College … had seven points and season-high three steals in overtime win at Central Arkansas.

JUNIOR COLLEGE
Averaged a team-high 15 points per game in 2008-09 at Itawamba Community College, where he was coached by Marty Cooper and former Lion assistant Brian Alexander ... ranked 33rd nationally last season among JUCO players in 3-point percentage ... averaged 0.6 points per game as a freshman ... blossomed as a sophomore leading the Indians in scoring 21 times and scoring 20 or more points in six contests ... a second-team All-State selection and participant in the MACJC All-Star Classic, Dixon converted on 44 percent (63-for-142) of his 3-point attempts while shooting nearly 50 percent from the floor and 73 percent from the free throw line. He grabbed two rebounds per game while averaging 1.5 assists and 1.4 steals as ICC finished 19-9 overall and captured its third straight MACJC North Division title.
