FRISCO, Texas – Discounted reserved seats for the 2009 State Farm Southland Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments are now on sale. Tickets for the 16-team, 14-game, five-day event, which will be played March 11-15 at the Merrell Center in Katy, Texas, will be available through the nationwide Ticketmaster system, including on-line at www.ticketmaster.com.

Fans can purchase All-Session Tournament reserved-seat packets for $60 through Jan. 31, a $15 savings off the 14-game package. Daily reserved and general admission tickets for afternoon and evening sessions will not be available until later when tournament seeding is known.

The tournament opens with four women's quarterfinal games on Wednesday, March 11, followed by the men's quarterfinals on Thursday, March 12. The semifinals for women and men will be played Friday, March 13, and will be televised by the Southland Conference Television Network.

The women's championship game will be held on Saturday, March 14, and will be shown live on Southland TV. The men's title game will be Sunday, March 15, and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2.
