Fastest 6K time came in his first attempt at the distance, finishing in 20:37.2 at the LSU Cross Country Invitational... Best 8K time came at the Lion Up Invitational, coming home in 27:49.3... Finished 66th at the SLC Championships, finishing that 8K course in 30:26.9... Named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll.
Prior to Southeastern:
Prepped at Otto-Hahn-Gymnasium in his native Germany... Ran for the LG Region Karlsruhe club, where he mostly ran the 400-meter dash & 800-meter run... Competed at the U-20 German National Championships.

Born January 13, 2005 in Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg, Germany... Son of Martin & Anke Anstett... Has two older siblings, Jan & Maike... Brother, Jan, competed on the track & field team at fellow SLC institution, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi... Sister, Maike, competed in track & field at the University of Akron... Enjoys photography & hiking... Most exciting sporting event he's witnessed was the European Championships in Munich... Biggest thrill was competing at the U-20 German National Championships with the goal of becoming an Olympian... Majors in business administration at SLU.
