HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University baseball team faces a rematch with Southern Miss at Pete Taylor Park in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The game is scheduled for 6 p.m. on ESPN+.

Southeastern (19-13) defeated the Golden Eagles (20-12), 7-6, this past Tuesday in Hammond on a walk-off home run by
Shea Thomas leading off the ninth inning.

TJ Salvaggio (.330) and
Rhett Rosevear (.291) are the Lions' leading hitters. Salvaggio is the team's active leader with seven home runs, while Thomas' 27 RBIs are tops on the team.
Right-hander
Hayden Robb (2-1, 3.77) draws the starting nod for the Lions. The grad student from Vancleave, Mississippi will be opposed by Southern Miss right-hander Drew Druckenmiller (0-0, 13.50).
Dalton McIntyre (.422), Billy Butler (.304) and Ozzie Pratt (.282) are the Golden Eagles' leading hitters entering the game. Slade Wilks paces the team with seven home runs and 29 RBIs this season.
Southern Miss took the first two games of a three-game Sun Belt Conference series at South Alabama over the weekend.

Southeastern returns to Southland Conference action this weekend with a three-game series at conference-leading Lamar. Games are slated for 6 p.m. Friday, 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday at Vincent-Beck Stadium in Beaumont, Texas.
