HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University baseball team continues on its four-game road trip this weekend with a Southland Conference series at league-leading Lamar. Games are scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday at Vincent-Beck Stadium in Beaumont, Texas.
 
The final two games of the series between Southeastern (19-14, 3-6 SLC) and the Cardinals (26-6, 5-1 SLC) are slated for coverage on ESPN+.
 
Fans can listen to all three games in the Hammond area on 90.9 The Lion. In addition, an audio stream is available online at www.LionSports.net/ListenLive and via the Lions Gameday Experience, TuneIn and MyTuner Radio apps. Following a 5-1 loss Tuesday at Southern Miss, Southeastern has lost it last four games overall, a season-high stretch.
 
Shea Thomas (.352), TJ Salvaggio (.325) and Rhett Rosevear (.291) are Southeastern's leading hitters. Salvaggio is the team's active leader with seven home runs while Thomas paces the squad with 27 RBIs.
 
SLU ranks second in the Southland with a 4.90 team ERA and sixth with a .269 batting average.
 
The Cardinals have won three straight and seven of their last eight games overall.
 
River Orsak (.358), Tanner Wilson (.342) and Zak Skinner (.325) pace Lamar at the plate. Orsak is tied with Brayden Evans for the team lead in home runs (7) and his 31 RBIs are also tops on the squad.
 
Lamar leads the Southland with a 3.42 ERA and ranks fourth with a .279 batting average.

Southeastern returns home from a four-game road trip for the first of back-to-back games with UL Lafayette. Games are slated for 6 p.m. Tuesday at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field in Hammond and 6 p.m. Wednesday at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park in Lafayette, Louisiana.
