HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University baseball team opens the home portion of its Southland Conference schedule with a three-game series beginning Thursday evening at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field against Houston Christian.
Games between Southeastern (17-7, 2-1 SLC) and the Huskies (7-17, 0-3 SLC) are slated for 6 p.m. Thursday, 6 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday. The series finale offers fans the opportunity to play baseball bingo during the contest.
All three games are slated for coverage on ESPN+. Fans can also listen to the game broadcasts in the Hammond area on 90.9 The Lion. An audio stream is available online at www.LionSports.net/ListenLive and via the Lions Gameday Experience, TuneIn and MyTuner Radio apps. Following an eight-game winning streak, SLU has dropped back-to-back games for just the third time this season.

Rhett Rosevear (.302) are the Lions' leading hitters. Hall and Thomas pace the squad with five home runs apiece. Thomas has also driven in a team-high 22 runs this season.
Right-hander
Brennan Stuprich (2-2, 2.41), the reigning Southland Conference Pitcher of the Week, draws the starting nod for the Lions in the series opener. The redshirt junior from Kenner, Louisiana will be opposed by HCU senior right-hander Nicholas Willard (2-2, 4.60).

Dakota Lee (0-1, 5.40) for Southeastern and senior right-hander Parker Edwards (1-3, 7.16) for the Huskies.
Will Kinzeler (1-1, 8.69), a senior right-hander from Covington, Louisiana, earns the start on the mound Saturday opposite HCU senior right-hander Rye Gunter (0-0, 6.64) in the series finale.
Following a three-game winning streak to open the month of March, the Huskies have lost their 11 games overall.
Trevor Roper (.333), William Jewell (.313), Samuel Benjamin (.297) and Dylan LaRue (.286) are the Huskies' top hitters. Tyler LaRue paces the HCU offense with six home runs and 24 RBIs.

Southeastern continues on a seven-game homestand Tuesday at 6 p.m., hosting Southern Miss for another $2 Tuesday at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field. General admission tickets and hot dogs are both $2 while kids (12 & under) will have the opportunity to stand next to their favorite SLU player during the National Anthem.

Single-game tickets are now on sale. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance to minimize ticket lines on game days. Southeastern students are encouraged to contact the ticket office before the game to reserve theirs in advance.
General admission tickets for most games are $11 for adults and $8 for youth (ages 3-12). Southeastern students, with a university ID, and children under age 2 are admitted for free. Gameday parking is $5 per day for standard vehicles and $25 for RVs.
