HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University baseball team hosts UL Lafayette at 6 p.m. Tuesday for the annual Pack the Pat promotion at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field.
Free food and a Hammond, America T-shirt will be given to the first 300 SLU students through the gates.
The game will air on ESPN+. Fans in the Hammond area can also listen on the flagship station of the Southeastern Sports Radio Network – KSLU 90.9 FM – in addition to online at www.LionSports.net/ListenLive and via both the Lions Gameday Experience, Mixlr and MyTuner Radio apps. UL Lafayette (11-12) leads the all-time series against SLU (8-16), 81-74, having defeated the Lions, 6-5, in 10 innings back on March 22 in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Adam Guth (1-1, 4.91), a freshman left-hander from Lake Charles, Louisiana takes the ball for Southeastern opposite Ragin' Cajun sophomore right-hander Peyton Havard (1-1, 4.91).
Since defeating No. 1-ranked Ole Miss, the Lions have dropped their last seven games.
Preston Faulkner (.281),
Shea Thomas (.260) and
Rhett Rosevear (.250) pace Southeastern at the plate. Thomas is the Lions' hottest hitter of late, hitting .467 (14-for-30) over the last two weeks. Faulkner leads the squad with 15 extra-base hits, including five home runs, and 21 RBIs.
Evan Keller and
Tyler Finke are tied for tops on the team with eight stolen bases each.
Rhett Rosevear is the national leader in HBPs (17) while SLU ranks fourth nationally as a team (56).
The Ragin' Cajuns took two of three at home from No. 29-ranked South Alabama this past weekend.
Carson Roccaforte (.363), Connor Kimple (.299) and Heath Hood (.284) are the team's leading hitters. Roccaforte also leads the squad in extra-base hits (12), home runs (7) and RBIs (31). He is also tied with Max Marusak for the most stolen bases (8).
UP NEXT
Southeastern embarks on another four-game road trip. This weekend SLU will travel to San Antonio, Texas for a three-game Southland Conference series at UIW. Game times are 6:30 p.m. Friday, 6:30 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.
The Lions wrap up the trip, April 5, in Mobile, Alabama with a non-conference contest at South Alabama. Game time at Stanky Field is 6:30 p.m.

Single-game tickets are on sale for the remainder of the regular season. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance to minimize ticket lines on game days. Southeastern students are encouraged to contact the ticket office prior to the game to reserve theirs in advance.
General admission tickets are $9 for adults and $6 for youth (ages 3-12). Southeastern students, with a university ID, and children under age 2 are admitted free. Gameday parking is $5 per day for standard vehicles and $25 for RVs.

Office hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Fridays. The ticket booth at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field opens exactly one hour prior to the scheduled first pitch.
Southeastern uses mobile ticketing as the primary method for distributing tickets purchased online. Tickets will be available via text message or email in a PDF format for fans to download on their phone or print at home. Tickets can also be downloaded to Apple Wallet.
